Role Summary:Your role as a Repair Technician is to use technical drawings to complete the disassembly, repair and re-assembly of different types of pumps, seals and valves and other rotating equipment submitted for repair. You will provide inspection reports and other reporting on the faults and repairs made. This position, reporting to the Production Supervisor is an exciting opportunity to join our first Quick Response Centre (QRC) in Algeria. Responsibilities & Requirements: Dismantle and clean pumps, seals and valves. (based on routine, sectional drawings or other specified information)Create inspection reports, filling out required protocols and dimensional reports based on findings during disassembly and review with production supervisor/ project coordinator.Balancing rotating parts.Small modification of parts by machining.Assemble pumps, seals and valves with new or repaired components.(create as build report)Testing valves (on test bench).Leak test on pumps and seals.Final inspection before shipping. (review shipping documents with project coordinator)Dismantling and reinstalling equipment in the field (pumps, seals and valves) >> supporting local field service team. (Incl laser alignment of pumps)Work together with the team to create a safe workplace. Preferred Experience / Skills: Experience of minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar service-oriented environment.Technical education (mechanic based) or equal level through experience.Solid practical and theoretical technical knowledge of rotating equipment.Understanding and commitment to safety and related regulations.Skills to use measurement tools.
