Job Description Position PurposeLeads the development and implementation of the patient access strategy at (large) country / regional level. To facilitate and achieve optimal Patient Access by building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers at a local level.Major Accountabilities-Utilizes insights from cross -functional teams and market research to launch, develop and implement high quality Patient Access strategic and operational plans -Establishes and maintains a strong professional network within the Federal /Regional and local Government authorities, Healthcare providers, Health Economic organizations and other relevant decision making representatives to anticipate & influence legislative P&R trends. -Communicates relevant changes and trends in local health policy environment and Patient Access activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team Major Accountabilities (crossdivisionally) Responsible for the development of Strategic Health Policy & Pricing : •Ensure best launch and in-market prices according to the market situation, aligned with PEC decisions and global strategies; •shape Reference Price decisions; •Ensure accurate qualitative and quantitative input into Budget and Strategic Planning; •Facilitate and consolidate Country input on Cluster, Regional and Global strategy development; •Contribute with an understanding of the impact on business strategy caused by competitors’ actions. Responsible for the Health Policy Operations / Reimbursement & Listing: •Ensure listing in regional and national drug lists; ensure HTA evaluations (as applicable) according to target positioning and reimbursement aligned with Country/Cluster and brand strategy. Influence early decisions in global and local development program regarding understanding of competitive environment and requirements from country and local HA’s in order to facilitate market access. •Responsible for influencing the National Health Policy Ability to see and communicate connections in available information and how they may translate into scenarios with commercial significance. Proactively influence the pharma political environment through continuous lobbying and cooperation with the industry association •Able to contribute to the regulatory decision making process and policy environment. Responsible for driving key projects for the development.Key performance Indicator(s)-Reimbursement/listing status, price versus targets, time to reimbursement/access -Revenue, market availability/access -Management of relevant local systems and processes to secure optimal patient access.CompetenciesNA Applied Business Insights Business Mindset Healthcare systems thinking Minimum requirements knowledge of Reimbursement processes and commercial principles Proven Ability to Develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders English NAKnowledge of pricing and reimbursement Commercial experience and/or leadership experience in Healthcare Leading audits & HA inspections Modeling and Quantifying Business and Investment Cases with High Uncertainty Business case management 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Science Experience/Professional Requirement: •Extensive (>7 years) pharma management experience •Extensive commercial experience (> 5 years) •Well-developed record of successful relationship management •Significant commercial understanding •Expert negotiation and persuasive ability •Project management skills with experience of complex projects •Strong analytical skills •Strong record of effectively managing other professionals •Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics •Well developed understanding of national Health Care, regulatory environment, of drug P&R and Listing processes •Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with government officials, regulators, and other key stakeholders •Proven emotional stability• Languages •English mandatory •High level of fluency in CPO language Competencies: •Strategic Thinking and Competitive Intelligence •Strategy Planning and Implementation •HC Environment Understanding •Business.
