How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform specialized engineering tasks in the field, such as inspecting compressor-related components and auxiliaries, and providing recommendations to customers based on specifications and requirements. Conduct on-site installation of systems, equipment, aftermarket upgrades, and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation, including emergency repairs and services, troubleshooting, and providing instructions to on-site teams and customers. Support continuous improvement of process/product/system design, participate in internal review meetings, and provide inputs on commissioning activities and other tasks and equipment. Identify technical problems as they occur and take appropriate actions to resolve them, including escalating more complex issues to a higher level, and providing expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customers. Perform measurements and compile records to document the condition of equipment and assure quality, providing required documentation and reports in accordance with procedures. Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process) or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant work experience is a plus. Profound understanding of technical equipment and the ability to work with technical documentation. Strong skills in mechanical maintenance activities within the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with rotating equipment, and a willingness to work hands-on under time pressure and challenging conditions. Digital literacy and proficiency in relevant IT applications (Microsoft Office); additional IT competence is beneficial. Experience with recognized centrifugal compressors product lines and/or specific Siemens Energy or Dresser Rand Datum Compressors operations and maintenance is an advantage with an understanding of relevant industry standards for Quality and HSE. Fluent in English (written and oral); other languages are beneficial.
